Food safety is a pertinent and pressing issue especially when the diversity of food choice is increasing daily. Very often than not, we are seeking answers on safe and healthy foods not only for ourselves but for our love ones and others as well.

What are the nutrients, natural toxin or contaminants that are found in foods?  Many food additives are used to improve product quality. What are the food additives and are they safe for us? Home-cooked food is always regarded as safe. Unfortunately, scientists have shown that improper cooking methods can introduce toxin unwittingly into cooked food. How can we prevent carcinogens formed during cooking?

Cholesterol has been a common health concern. How do we control cholesterol through eating?

Awareness on food safety issues is essential in food choices to lead a healthy and happy life, and I would like to share my views on these issues with you.

About the Speaker
